The libs just kill off their kids before they ever have to bother with them. Children are just as much a mans responsibility as a womans. Who says a woman is limited to either having a family or having a career but not both. Is that reserved for men only? I think not. The libs are running scared.

Apparently so, I guess they think all conservative are clinging to their bibles and guns. Talk about hypocrisy, Pelosi has 5 children, and no one say's anything to her, Al Gores teenage son was arrested while he was running for President, and no one said he should stay home and take care of his troubled teen, Edward's wife had cancer while he was running for Pres. and no one said he should stay home and take care of her.

No the problem is they are SCARED to death of Sarah Palin. They can't find any dirt on her so, they revert to any lame excuse they can find. Since Palin arrived on the scene, their idol has had to take a back seat and his 'poll' numbers are dropping. It's called desperation for the liberals.

We have not changed at all. Your perception of us is inaccurate.

Most of us who consider ourselves "progressive" actually have very strong family values. We believe that women should get equal pay, yet at the same time acknowledge that a person's main focus in life should be on his/her family.

Is Palin doing this? Certainly not. She is choosing to put herself in the middle of a dirty, tightly-contested campaign with a baby with special needs at home and a daughter who is pregnant. Are you telling me that no conservative finds this strange?

I wish for Governor Palin only the best. I also hope she chooses do the same thing my feminist wife chose to do: put her baby/family first, and personal goals second.

Why is it ok for a man to have kids and be a President at the same time but a woman who has kids "should stay home and take care of the kids" instead of having a career?

Obama has kids, does that mean he should "stay home and take care of the kids"? Why is it solely the woman's job to raise a family? A woman and man make a child, they are equally responsible for their children. No woman should have to give up their dream to stay home and take care of their kids unless it is absolutely necessary, you can raise a family and have a career at the same time.
