Have You Ever Been On A Ride Where It Suddenly Broke Down?

I was riding Flight of Fear (the indoor coaster) at Kings Island when all of a sudden it slowed down.. and ground to a halt. A few seconds later it started back up again.

Yes!  Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain.  We waited in the caster for over an hour before we all had to get out and climb down!  So scary!

Yah, Idk what it's called, but it's like this big swinging ship thing that keeps going up until it flips over completely. o.O

It was just starting, and it broke down.. and the seats are not comfy, because you're like strapped in really really really tight. And it started raining too. Soo..we just sat on it for 45 minutes until they fixed it.

yesh,magnum XL 2000 at Cedar point.we were there for a while.it was really boring,and people were spitting on peoples heads,lol

Lol, Grizzy Mountian in California adventure. Fortunately, it was only for 4 minutes.

But I know someone who got stuck in 'It's a small world after all" in disneyland one time. The music played for 4 hours, and it drove him insane :P

OMG yes!

I was on Iron Dragon @ Cedar Point with my dad, and we got to the very top of the hill, & then the ride stopped. It was basically worst case senario, cause it was freezing, raining just a teeny bit, & my first time on the ride. I always get so scared on the way up the lift hills, & I was so freaked out sitting up there & freezing.

A different day me & a friend were waiting to get on Disaster Transport & it broke down. Apparantly the lift hill stopped working & the lights went off in there. Me & that friend live for adventures like that where we can pretend we're stuck in a dark cave or something. xD The people were in there for 5 minutes or so, then some dude with a flashlight came & got them out. What made us so mad is that we would have been able to get on that train, but we chose to wait for the next one so we could get front seat. D:<

Actually, it happened to me a couple of times.

1) A few times on Spaceship Earth at EPCOT. For some odd reason, whenever I rode it, the ride would break down right at the top of the ride. I wonder why... =/

2) One time on Killamonjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Apparently the only reason why we broke down was because our car ran out of gas.

3) Another time on Cheetah Chase at Bush Gardens Africa. It only broke down for a couple of moments though.

I have been going to Disneyland at least once a month for my entire life (28 years) but I can only remember 2 rides that broke down while I was on it.  The first one was Pirates of the Caribbean between the treasure room and the 1st battle scene.  It was broke down for over an hour but we had entertainment while it was down.  

The other one was on Big Thunder Mountain (my ALL TIME FAVORITE RIDE) going up the hill.  The ride stopped because a rider in another train stood up completely up during the ride.
