  1. I  never lie  I am proud of  my decision to vote  Rep  and  that is the  end  of it...If  people  don't like  it  that is  their  problem  not  my.

  2. Absolutely not.  I'm not voting for Barack, and I'm not racist.  I wouldn't have voted for Hilary, and I'm not a sexist.  I'm not voting for McCain, and I'm not anti senior citizen (sorry, couldn't resist).

It's easy to support your candidate when you're a Libertarian.  If you want real civil, and personal freedom, and if you want real tax reform, and for all of the Obama "Change" folks...  Real change would be a Libertarian.

    Bob Barr '08!

  3. nope

  4. To:that woman who answered before me: Did you not see Hillary's speech a few nights ago?  You say you support her but you're going against everything she stands for.  How could you vote for a republican when "your" candidate is so liberal? You're a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I never lied about who I was voting for, but I have been known to sit quietly in the corner as people talk politics.  People get pretty passionate and someone usually ends up embarrassing themself.  Being quiet prevents me from being that idiot.  :)

  6. nope never lied. i believe what i believe and don't feel like i should justify my beliefs to anybody. and if they dont like my choice then they can kiss my **** cuz honestly we all have the right to our opinion. and if i dont kno how to support my decision then i shouldnt be making a decision.. but even so like i said i shouldnt have to justify myself anyways lol

  7. Personally, no. But I've heard of people doing just this, for various reasons.

There are those who claim to be voting for Senator Obama because they live in a very liberal neighborhood and don't want to become a social outcast. Sometimes they don't want to be seen as racist. Sometimes they think he has very little executive experience, and as a result, feel that he would be a terrible president but a great (continued) senator. Some of them feel that Obama and Biden are being hypocritical for saying that Sarah Palin is inexperienced, since Palin, a former governer, has more executive experience than Senator Obama, who has served on a community school board for less than five years total.

Some people claim to be voting for Senator McCain because they live in a conservative area and don't want to be seen as frivolous (because they're really voting for Senator Obama, who is quite popular and handsome). They also don't want to become social outcasts. In many cases, they feel that McCain will not do enough to change society, and in some cases, they feel that McCain will do irreparable harm to the American economy.

In both cases, people say one thing and vote the other for social reasons as well as more concrete ones - usually because they don't want to feel foolish or have to defend their decisions in a setting where no one else will agree. No matter who is right, it is painful to defend your political point of view against four or more people who strongly disagree with you.

  8. l lie all the time about this cause its no ones business butyours.

  9. Nope, just refuse to discuss politics for the most part.  It's nobody's business who I vote for which is why the voting polls set up privacy booths. We all have opinions and preferences and if you don't want to start an argument, just don't discuss it.  Someone will disagree with you, guaranteed.

  10. When I talked to my Dem Black best friend today, I had to sound upset that McCain just won

  11. No, people who do should grow a backbone. why would you make a choice if you aren't willing to defend it?

  12. Not at all.  I always have very stong support for my decisions.
