I pray for all the people in Ica, Pisco and Chincha, there are already 35 casualties and historic places like Iglesia de Luren have collapsed, hotels like Libertador, Paracas, are in ruins. 9. yeah i did....ive been following up on it since i first heard about it..... epicenter was approximately 30 miles west of chincha alta, so it was in the ocean.....im from pisco, so its not far at all. My mom is there on vacation right now, she's in san andres in pisco, and she said some houses fell down, and that the sea has receded. I know theres a tsunami warning all along the cost. Its really hard to get a phone call through, alot of the lines are down.... hope everyones ok.

  10. It was yesterday 6.40pm Peru Time, up to now we have a count of over 300 dead and 1200 injured, mostly in a south region called ICA, really bad down there...in Lima we got shook up really hard but fortunately nothing fatal happened, let's just hope ICA can recover from this shock.

We heard about this thru surperu a cable channel, it came out flash news around 7:50 pm our time and the scenes were scary we couldnt get thru my sister and grandma( she has heart problems) but they were ok. I was able to reach abunch of family members  in minutes thank god. My cousin lives in chorillos which is really close to the beach. The live up in a hill and she says that she felt the whole hill moving like a ship they tought they were gonna die. also they reported seeing huge flashes on blue light coming from the ocean!!!

  12. Yupp 17 people died. Thats soo scary. I feel so bad for them and their families. Are you okay? how bad was it?

  13. Yeah I'm from Peru but reside in the US, i have a ton of family there but thank god we got in touch with them and they seem to be doing ok. But we still haven't been able to get in touch with  my step-fathers family who has family in Ica and Pisco. We're all very worried but trying to remain calm.
