Have a 12 week old lab pup and want a kitten(is this safe)!!?

i have a 12 wk old lab pup who eats everything and he is so playfull,he also loves to nibble or bite anything that moves!! ie. my 4 year old and 15th month old sons!!??so is getting a kitty totally crazy, i dont want my lab to hurt her.but he is an amazing dog and worth keeping, but we want a kitty too!!

Wait on a kitten, you are going to have your hands full with the kids and making the time to train the puppy properly.  If a little kitten got hurt, you'd never forgive yourself.
