I went and bought a coil pack for it but it still does the same thing

check the cam sensor under the throttle body those cars are bad about the exciter ring breaking and busting the sensor

Just keep spending money on parts. Sooner or later you might get luckey, or take it and get it looked at.

check that none of the spark plugs are corroded or old, maybe replace the wires as well. you may just have a horrible problem with the engine
