Have a 2007 Fit Sport and want to change speakers.?

I have sirius radio and would love to hear it louder. Can the stock radio handle a subwoofer and an upgrade of speakers.

no radio has the necessary wattage to power a subwoofer and you can upgrade the inside speakers and power them with the radio but if you don't plan to put an amp on them i would suggest getting ones that don't require any more than about 35watts RMS each so that the radio can power them without sending out a distorted signal (distortion is the MAIN cause of speaker damage) because you would be overworking the radios internal amplifier-- get speakers with a high sensitivity because a speaker with a sensitivity rating that's 3 dB higher than another speaker's only needs half as much power to deliver the same amount of sound
