Have a Acer laptop computer and my cd drawer wont open all I get is clicking sound anybody know whats wrong ?

Get a paper clip and open it up (it is just the proper size).

Look at the CD door.

You will see a very small hole.

Gently (underline gently) insert the paper clip to release the CD.

Most times this works.

I don't know whats wrong but there is a little hole on the front u can stick a pin in it to force it open.

Is their a CD currently inserted or is it empty??

If their is a CD inside it sounds like its jammed.

Get a thin needle or something similar and you should be able to locate a small hole on the outside of the cd drawer.

Push this and it should force the drawer open.
