Have a couple of work questions

I have a couple of questions to ask about working in California, and it's okay if you don't have the answers to all of them. Anyways, here are my questions:

1.Can i work in California if I'm a minor?

2.If i can work, how do i request a work permit?

3. What jobs can i do as a 14 year old? Or which ones are reccomended?

If you are still in school, as your councelor as he/ she will be able to help you. I'm not sure what you can do at your age, but rest assured that they will know what you can do.

Hmmm...to my knowledge in the US (if you were born here) you can work a legit job as young as 14-16...

Work Permit: I got mine from someone who worked in my high school...ask your guidance counselor or principal where you can get it from...they will know...

Try to get a job at McDonald's, the Mall's where you live at, restaurants, a hair shop (barber shop if you are a guy and salon if you are a girl), Burger King...all fast food places...Pizza Hut...Wawa's...CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens...ask other kids your age where they work and see if they are hiring...you'll get a job sooner than you think if you work hard at it!
