i ask that question coz if the embassy ask me marriage contract of my parents that makes me other problem coz they were not registered at the municipal office where they got married...

You are Pinay right ? - Well normally it is needed but since also the western countries are aware that not every birth or marriage was registered in the Philippines like the standards we have overhere due to the fact that can be quite challenging with over 7107 islands to oversee you can hand over also the affidavits of three independent witnesses of this marriage or the certificate of the church, which must be signed notary office and that has to be confirmed by the  Home Office and that needs to be signed by the Malacanang ( is that spelled correct ? ) and the last that has to legalize it is the DFA but since you went through it with the other papers I'm sure you know how the game works ;) so have fun with waiting :))


  2. i have never heard of a contract, but you were not precise in your question,such as? which country are you from,whom you are marrying?
