Have a phillips DVDR model#3455H.Inserted

Question

Have a phillips DVDR model#3455H.Inserted dvdrw disc recorded with videos recorded on it in my computer. Disc works fine in my pioneer dvdr but when I put it in the phillips it will not load and it will not eject. Also it will not come out of DVD mode. I have tried unplugging it for as long as over night also I have tried holding eject button down as I reapply power. Still no help. I'm thinking I may have to pull the cover and try to get the disc out manually and hope without the disc in the tray the machine will reset itself. Any suggestions?
