Have a question about Tonsil's?

Question

Now, how would u know when its time 2 get ur tonsil's taken out? because 4 about 5 days both sides of my throat have been hurting like when i swallow and yawn.

any ideas?

Usually tonsils get taken out if someone has recurrent tonsillitis, say 3 times in 2 years, that kind of thing. If this is the first time you are having problems with them then it probably isn't a reason to get them out.You should see a doctor, tonsil infections can be pretty nasty. If they aren't infected then they may be causing other problems due to their size, which would also be a reason to get them out as they can interfere with breathing, especially during sleep. Get em checked out and don't be too eager for surgery, its not pleasant.

Only a doctor can answer this unless you have the money to pay for it yourself. There could be many reasons why your throat in sore

I had to put up with sore throats and tonsillitis for years before they would even consider it. Also it depends on how old you are some hospitals don't like operating if you are an adult. They prefer to do this operation on children as the risks are greater for adults.

Why put yourself through that if it's not needed. Go see your doctor for professional advice.
