  1. its way easy, call your local applience  guy, the one the pros use,the belt kit comes with instuctions

  2. Replacing the belt is no big deal. You have to remove the front of the dryer to get to the drum.Once you can see the drum and motor take notice how the belt goes through the idle pulley so when you get ready to install new belt you do not have a problem..This site will show you step by step..

  3. I would guess on a Whirlpool it is more likely to be the rollers that are squeaking and not the belt. It could be the belt tightener pulley but more often the rollers.

The rollers support the rear of the drum. Often a drop of oil will get rid of the squeak but they can wear out too. The centers are a soft bearing. You would probably be served better by replacing them.

They do sell a rebuild kit. I don;t know if you need seals. If not you can get away with a new belt, two rollers, and a pulley. But that used to cost about the same as the kit. And there are a couple of different kits depending on the size of the drum.

    Good Luck.
