You have got to be kidding. This is such a stupid question. If aliens had taken over the mind of the Congress we would be in better shape! rofl I think it would be a good idea if aliens took over their mind. Instead it is probably more like greed.

Well, that would be one way of taking over our planet.  In addition, the congressmen wouldn't fess up to it (or, the aliens more like it).  That must be why so many congressmen are making news these days for controversial actions, like Mike Foley and Ted Stevens.
