I am also due to go back to work in 2 weeks following maternity leave with 1st baby!! Do i tell my boss now or in 12 weeks? I don't have Mum or MIL close by either, how will i cope with 16 month old and newborn. My hubby very good but we worried how we will cope money wise and just with two babies so close in age. I know we just have to deal with it but would be good to hear others views. Thanks.

  1. Congrats!  It's none of your employer's business that you're pregnant.  I'd wait to tell them until I was showing and had to.  You don't need to give them more than a couple of months' notice.

  2. Try having twins or other multiples!!!

  3. Everything will be fine. I got pregnant 4 months after my first was born and am due in 15 days. I occasionally have a small panic attack here and their just because I keep thinking "Their's going to be 2 of them!!" Then I calm down and think about how close they will be. My sister and I are 13 months apart just like my daughters will be and we are like best friends. Get back into your normal routine at work before you mention to your boss you are pregnant again. That way you will have adjusted to taking care of your child and heading to work and getting back to normal. Congratulations on your first baby and congratulations on your second pregnancy. I wish you luck.

  4. you will cope no problem it will be worth it. i would wait to tell your boss too.

  5. It will all work out.  Once you get through the first month of newness, you will be a pro.  I think it will be good later down the road also having the kids close.  They will be into similar things.

  6. Hun if i am honest you can use the clothes you have now for your newborn...when my sister in law had my niece she passed the clothes down to me i was so greatful ..then i found out i was having twins !

Its OK Hun get your self and your now new baby a routine in place and then you will learn to fit things around this we had a simple routine set up for our twins and now 10 years later we still do ..and we coped ... xx

    you will be fine
