Have an Ex-race horse and would like to re-trace his background in Racing,if he has raced, how do I do this?

  1. There are many websites on the Internet that are created just for this purpose. For instance, bloodlines.net. Try tracing back to his sire/mare, and searching them, so you can indirectly learn about his background. Depending on whether it is Thoroughbred or Standardbred, you may need to try different sites. No horses go unregistered if they have raced, so an answer will most definitely come up in time.


  2. Dispite their name, every horse gets a number and then you can look up its records.

  4. go to the english thoroughbred assoc.they usually have the breeding of horses going back several generations on their files, also they will give you links to check if some of the ancestors are from other countries, it;s a lot of fun
