  1. You would have to define what you mean by native american.  If you mean have remains been found in north america then yes.  However, the chance that a living tribe can prove affiliation is very slim.  Currently this is the debate with NAGPRA laws and anthropology.


  2. probably. that would have been during the ice age when it would have been possible to come from russia through Alaska on the ice bridge.

  3. The oldest bones found in North America, were from the Gulf of Mexico region, and were carbon-dated to 28,000 years BP...

    That would be after the Ice Age which ended ca. 32,000 years ago (2 Ice-Ages ago), and probably represents the first Homo sapiens migration on foot, across the Bering Land Bridge...

  4. Not older enough to make any difference. Native Americans are recent immigrants to the Americas; recent in the geological sense.

    The genetic trail makes this a lock.

  6. I don't actually know but I hold, for the moment, the position that native Americans have been on this continent about 18,000 years or longer.
