  1. Make them do anything fun and if they become abseesed of what they are doing add stuff to what they are doing

  2. sock puppets.

  3. An edible art project would be to make spider cookies. Get some cookie dough and give them a spoon full. Have them insert pretzel sticks for legs, ice them with chocolate icing and give him chocolate chip eyes... I did this with my three year olds and they loved it! they thoroughly enjoyed eating their art for snack.

  4. There are lots of ideas from these books.  The children will never get bored!

    Check out http://www.montessori-book.com

  5. I would say making them draw a pumpking...and draw ideas about what they would see when they go trick-or-treting

  6. Paper plate and fall leaves for a thanksgiving or autom wreath. Traced hand turkey.plaster of paris handprints. Hope this helps some.

  7. Four-year-olds are full of creativity and fun. Here are some ideas to use that don't cost a lot of money. All you need is some butcher paper and essentials like markers. Sometimes the simplest crafts work best. Assemble a good supply of craft materials and let them have free time to create their own vision rather than telling them to make a certain thing a certain way. This stimulates their creativity and inventiveness.

  8. friend ship bracklets phto frame making fintger painting necklaces emmmmm may be making pumpkins or  snowmans if holidays

  9. How about some simple wood shop activities? Before you talk about how unsafe that is, Lowes has such programs, even for the 3 and 4 year olds. They use hammers, nails, screws, screwdrivers, sand paper and glue. My friend's daughter made a car, a couple of airplanes, a boat, and a bunch of other things. Everything was pre-cut, though. She was only 4 at the time. Requires careful, adult supervision, of course but, perfectly safe.

Have them practice hammering and nailing first on a scrap piece of wood or something. Have them do this until they master how to do it. Then, have them do some very simple projects. Build a simple box with 5 pieces of pre-cut wood. Have them glue and nail the sides together then, attach a bottom with glue and nails. Another idea would be a bird house or a little shelf. You may also get ideas from Lowes, Home Depot, a craft store, or a hobby shop.

  10. i would say making a picture to give to their parents

  11. I did this with a group of preschoolers that I work with. I got the idea from Marshalls, they had valentines that were in the shape of fortune cookies. So I made more in different colors and let the students write a message in them and give them to their parents. The foam is small circles about 3.5 - 4.5 inches and we would pinch them in the middle then squeeze them to look like fortune cookies.

  12. Pasta necklaces and bird feeders always go down well in my nursery

  13. My 4 year old class loves putting a bunch of marbles, three or four different paint colors and paper in a bin and shaking it up!! It makes some really cool looking "splatter-type" art and it's a lot of fun for them to do!

  14. MAKE THE CHARACTERS IN A NURSERY RHYME. MY SO IS 4 AND IN PRE SCHOOL. THEY JUST MADE HUMPTY DUMPTY WITH EGGSHELLS.  THEY CUT OUT JACK & JILL PAPER DOLLS  AND PUT REAL CLOTHES ON THEM.
