I have a ton, but here's one.

I work from home. When 8 months pregnant, I traveled to our corporate HQ and attended a meeting. I sat between two of my co-workers. They were having a heated technical discussion while I was counting baby kicks.

Slowly, the conversation began to die down and turn into silence. I glanced at one my co-workers who was staring at my belly. I turned to the other who was also staring at my belly.

When I asked the two ladies what was wrong, one of them replied, "I have the irresistable urge to rub your belly." The other then said, "Yes, and I feel like patting it and saying 'Awwwwhhh.'"

Both single, childless women then asked me if I would move a little bit out of their reach so that they didn't give in to the urge.

  2. My husband is from Texas and we found out I was pregnant a week after he was deployed. So, I went back to Minnesota where my family is to have the baby and he made it back three days before she was born. It was 1 am on Feb 29th and it had snowed a couple of inches when we were getting ready to go to the hospital. He took one step outside, looked at the snow on the care and said "(Expletive)! The car's all (Expletive) up! We can't go to the hospital!" So, I told him that we have a snow scraper in the car right next to the driver's seat (where every good midwestern girl keeps one) and that we could just brush the snow off. So, I'm sitting in the car waiting for him to get the snow off. Apparently, Texans don't know to start at the top of the windshield and work your way down. So, it took him almost 15 minutes before he gave up. He also forgot to brush off the side windows or the back. Luckily, at 1 am in a small town, there isn't much traffic and we made it to the hospital just fine. It's my favorite story from when we were having the baby!

  3. Ok heres mine, My family and I were at a resturant waiting on our food, we were all just talking and having a good time, the baby was moving like crazy that day. My fiance looks at me and says that little girl is staring at your stomach. I looked at her and she looked sooo scared, turned around and said mommy theres something wrong with that ladys stomach. Her mom looked at me and looked back at the little girl and said hun, theres a baby in there. The little girl screamed a baby! and started crying...it was cute, i guess she was watching my stomach move....
