Have any of yall been to Myrtels Plantation in Louisiana?

I have had family and friends stay there and they enjoyed it. Its known to be haunted which is the main draw of course. St. Francisville is a nice area.

If you are just looking for plantations to visit I feel Houmas House is the best.

I have a few times.  It's a fun place to visit, if you want to get a little spooked.  There are also plantation tours in St. Francesville that is well worth the cost as well.  They are all so beautiful!

I haven't but my friends and i are planning a trip!

Just fyi though... i called a couple of weeks ago and (at the time) they had availability Thanksgiving weekend but otherwise not again til 2009...

You should definitely call as far ahead in advance as you can to make reservations :)

I thought it was hokey, I'd recommend just taking some regular plantation tours around St Francisville.
