Have any of you cruised on the carnival pride ship or?

the royal caribbean vision of the seas? Are they nice boats or are they old and outdated?

I was on the pride in March and loved it, Having been on many Carnival ships its is one of my favorites and we look forward to being on her again. They upgrade and refit ships periodically so not to worry. Like the above poster I have been on RCL's Sovereign of the Seas and it was worse than horrible ( I actually think I heard they were selling it off within the year) but the Vision is newer I think. The food and service was better on Carnival so they win hands downs for my cruise business

I have been on the Carnival Pride, as well as a couple other Carnival ships.  They are all really nice.  The staterooms on each Carnival ship that I've been on look pretty much the same.  Every now and then you MIGHT find a bathroom in a stateroom that may need a little cosmetic work.  As for the rest of the ship, everything is really nice.  The staff is always on top of things.  They are constantly cleaning and are very accommodating to your needs.  If you check their website you can click on link for the Pride and do a virtual tour.

I've been on one Royal Caribbean ship, The Monarch of the Seas and it was absolutely horrible!  I can't speak for the entire fleet, but this ship was old.  The staterooms are much smaller than Carnival's.  The bathrooms in the rooms also really small.  Small enough that every time we would lift our arms to wash, we'd hit it on something.
