Question:

Have any of you ever driven home only to realize that you were given the wrong fast food drive-thru order???

Did you go ahead and eat it or take it back? Did you have words with the people on duty? I know it's a good idea to check the order before driving off and I now do that.

  1. oh of course, who hasnt had that happen to them!! but once that happens to you, THEN you learn its important to check before driving off, as you said..I had the same issue hehe..oh and pick-up chinese food is the same way..not making fun of em, but honestly there is a severe language barrier! i can be right in front of them speaking clear as possible..and they get 1/2 the order wrong..ah well


  2. Exspecially at our local Burger King. Went every morning before work, ordered the same thing everytime. Everytime something was wrong. After weeks of this, I started just going back. Then one day I went in and told them they were freakin ridiculous. I started going somewhere else, in fear of spit in my food after that..

  3. Lol. Yes, I think that has happened to everyone. I have eaten some orders, others I have taken back b/c it was probably 10 at nite and who wants to leave the house after you have put on your pajamas.

    The most "words" that I would have had with the restaurant staff would have been, you gave me the wrong order, please fix it. Good question.

I have done a few times and I have went back and let them know,That gets so frustrating!! i know we are all humans and make mistakes But they should double check the order before giving it to you. I worked at McDonald's for one month and I got to see it from both views,the workers and the customers,It was a real eye opener!

  5. No, I always check to make sure it is correct before I drive home.  I want what I paid for.

  6. I eat it anyways as I'm lucky to sneak in a bite to eat with 3 boys. My b/f on the other hand will refuse to eat it which makes a miserable situation for all of us.

    But i dont go back... i always seem to think if you find

    something wrong with you meal... dont take it back

    only because I think they spit in your food. :]

  8. what u should do is just call and let the manager know wat just happened 2 ur oder and then the manger should tell u to leave ur name and the next time u come in u tel the person up front ur name and they will get the manger and u will get that meal the right way all over for free!!! but i just don't think it's far 2 get smart with the ppl on cash register they  didn't make the food and that's mean....

    but see i would just check my food br for i go but just not were u pick the food up because that runs up service time and we get in trouble because of how long we get ur food...

  10. I would think that has happened to everyone. I naturally check the bag to make sure I get everything I ordered. That is if I even go to a Fast Food place. :P

    I honestly don't think there is any reason to "have words" with any of the people on duty, as you say. Everyone makes mistakes. What if they had a bad day? What if it was just a crazy busy day? Yelling at them only makes it worse.
