Have any of you ever had a family member exhumed in the United States ?

As in moved from one cemetery to another or from a mausoleum to another ...If so did you find it a difficult process ..im planning to have my fathers body which is buried exhumed and placed in a family mausoleum after it is constructed ..

Not in the USA.

Mausoleums do have an "appeal", but are only "temporary". Maybe for a century, maybe for several centuries, if maintained.

The continuity with the question is that though I do think it has a certain "appeal" yet we do not get all concerned about trying to preserve the "dust" (though we do use cement vault, etc. for protection from digging rodents, etc.) because 'We look for the faithful promise of the Scriptures in which the Trumpet shall sound and the faithful dead shall be raised, changed, incorruptible.'
