Have any of you every sponsored a child through CCF or World Vision? What was your experience like?

I am interested in possibly sponsoring a child through a reputable charity and am trying to make an informed decision.

I co-sponsored a child through World Vision years ago, and I must admit I was by far the less active of the two of us. But it was very much a good experience. We received regular updates from our child, Yessica, and they were well-translatedand current. Everything we sent her reached her, and my co-sponsor was even able to visit her while doing a misson trip abroad, with a little help from WV. We had a very positive experience with them, and I can recommend them in good faith.
