  1. As a Scorpio myself, I agree wholeheartedly with the first answerer.. That has been my exact same experience with Geminis even in a friendship I find it hard to get along with a Gemini!

  2. Well, I'm a Scorp (female) who was married to a Gemini a long time ago, and it was a total disaster.

A lot of factors have to be taken into account with every couple, obviously, but this one is hard, because the basic natures and reactions are so different.

Scorpios don't have the gift of gab and start off thinking Gemini's are witty and charming, and enjoy listening to their easy conversation.  After the initial thrill wears off, however, Scorpios often come to regard Geminis as lightweights and dilettantes, who are satisfied knowing a little about a whole lot and don't ever settle on anything, and they lose interest.

Geminis are intrigued by a certain amount of depth and intensity in Scorpios that they know they lack, but eventually start to feel overwhelmed with the heavy black moods and the taking everything so seriously personality that Scorpios tend to have, and they start longing for a more breezy companion.

Also, and this can be a big problem if the relationship takes off, what a Gemini regards as engaging in light hearted, flirtatious banter with a member of the opposite s*x is viewed by a Scorpio as dangerous game playing, verging on outright cheating, and is enraging.  You could be doing your usual chatty thing at a party, which means nothing to you, having a great time, only to have your Scorpio bf say as soon as you get in the car, "I thought you were gonna blow that guy under the table!  What the f*** is wrong with you?"  You will be totally shocked, because you didn't see yourself as behaving that way at all.  That's an example of what I mean by different basic personalities.

If you really like one another, you can decide to ignore your different signs and just work at getting along.  IMO, this is one of the harder ones, but I'm prejudiced by past experience.  If you are intrigued, don't let fear stop you from giving him a try.  It might be great.
