Have any of you out there heard of RIVIERA NAYARIT, a huge tourist project Mexico is building?

They just anounced the plans for the biggest project of its type in the world, from Puerto Vallarta running aout 100 miles north up the coast. The gov´t agency that built Cancun with a huge amount of private investment capital..big resorts, marinas, golf courses, eco retreats, all along, plus 2 big new highways and one or 2 new international airports. Does anyone have information on this? Beyond this really basic stuff, which is all I can find out? what do you think of it? Does anybody know the area?

Yes I know Nayarit, but have not heard of this project and I watch Mexican television/news on a daily basis. If it is something they are planning on doing, don't expect to vacation there next month or next year because it will probably take 10-15 yrs to complete, especially if the USA is involved in any way at all.
