Have any one ever bought a hood from certifit?

am looking to buy a new black hood for my civic and a oem hood is like 150$ and a certifit is like 50$....my boi said the parts are good but i just want to get a better opinion.

  1. You can get an OEM hood here (although used) for $35.00 and up. Might even find a color match, so you won't need to paint.

    If you go with aftermarket make sure it is a CAPA certified part.


  2.   We use their stuff all the time in the body shop. You should have no problem with the hood. The last one that I put on a civic, I had to slightly enlarge the holes for the washer nozzles. But overall save the money and but the certifit hood.

  3. I fix wrecked cars regularly and their parts are good EXCEPT; if you get a good hail storm, the hood will dent before the rest of the car (slightly thinner metal?)

  5. i bought a fender from there about 3 years ago for my civic, and i didn't have any problems with it. all the body lines lined up perfect. why spend all that money if you don't have to
