If you have did they work for you. After taking these supplements did you get more energy and feel better. Did it help you go to the bathroom more often.

I am just wondering because I have just started taking a colon cleanse supplement, a liver cleanse supplement and a daily once a day woman vitamin and vitamin c. And it seems to be helping me. I feel better and not all sluggish, I have energy. I feel like my overall health is improving.

  1. All this 'cleansing' and 'detoxing' is so much rubbish. It has been invented for commercial purposes to scam money from people who have too little knowledge to know better. The body is quite capable of 'cleaning' itself without any sort of "detox" or "cleanse". All the websites that are telling you how good it is are also selling something, that should be a clue! Break away from the bulls#!t, be sensible, and forget the cleansing/detoxing scam. There are NO benefits, and despite what some unfortunate uneducated people will tell you, NOTHING actually "detoxes" you. Nothing at all. It is a useless waste of money.

  2. A professional nutritionist recommended a colon cleanse to me that they use annally. It took about a week to do. It definitely cleaned me out and quite frankly, I did have more energy afterwards. It's like anything. There are good products out there and there are not so good.

It sounds like you are doing well with what you are doing. I don't know if you are changing how you eat, but stick with natural, fresh and at least 70% raw foods. If you want to maintain some detoxification (and other benefits) you might want to considere adding a 100% bio-available whey protein

    to your diet.

  3. The best way to clean your colon and other inside parts is to drink lot's of water it will do exactly the same job. The vitamins are the ones giving you energy.

  4. They don't help you. They are unhealthy scams.

As a medical doctor before doing anything.

  5. I have tried several brands and each time I have felt horrible while taking them and up to a week of being off them. I guess that can be a side effect because all the toxins end up in your bloodstream. The main side effect for me though was a persist ant migraine. They've never worked and I'll never try them again.

    Hope this helps. Good Luck!

  6. Not sure if I would call it "rubbish". But I do know unfit, overweight people are almost always lethargic, or ill, or on some medication. What you eat directly effects your health, first. Then your environment. I know a colon cleanse works. And not all people's bodies' detoxes itself. Some people have sluggish colons. And eating the wrong foods will only make it worse. Be careful though. You don't want to become dependent on any type of laxative. You still want to be able to go, as they say, on your own. It's unnatural to not have regular bowel movements. Waste isn't meant to stay in your body. As for the liver cleanse, I just started myself so I can't comment yet. But I do know the liver filters your body and it also directly effects your health. There is no scam in eating healthy and being active. Your body is organic and should be treated as such. You can't just keep putting garbage in it.

  7. my naturopath had me do a liver cleanse earlier this year. it was called mediclear, it is a powder you can add to smoothies or juice, and it is basically full of vitamins and minerals. i had to eat a specific diet; it was really easy..... basically no processed foods, sugar, caffeine, white flour, eggs, and a couple other things. it was not difficult at all though. i had a lot of energy during the cleanse, because of the mediclear, and after my skin and eyes looked brighter.

my naturopath suggested i do a cleanse once a year, and i agree. i think it's great for your body!

  8. I have done both types of cleanses. i used oxy powder and livatrex. I started using the products three years ago and still continue using them today. by cleansing my liver i was able to help my metabolism and in turn lost  allot of weight in the process along with changes in my diet and exercise. I also was able to get over the hump of depression with in turn gave me the motivation i needed to follow through with my new found lifestyle. a good book to read is  health begins in the colon. in case you are wondering how much weight i lost i started at 265 and now am at 145.
