Have you noticed the alarming rates people's houses are vacant? It scares me to think that it could be a ghost state due to the dwindling economy. While my husband and I are planning a move in 3 years max, it shocks me to see how many houses are vacant, left behind like a ghost town. I just hope that something happens soon. I travel all over michigan and it is very frightening. I have seen houses that are gorgeous, wealthy owned, middle classed, and even boarded up...It is like an end of an era.

Since I am on the subject, I have also seen new constructions and it sickens me cuz who is gonna have the finances to live in them if nobody has jobs? It sucks...Well that is life....

  1. Michigan certainly is hurting big time.  My rentals are nice, but 1/2 empty (15 units) because they cant pass a minor credit check, let alone a major one.  We even have allowed for the forclosures, because mtg payments doubled and most people couldnt pay them, but can pay decent rent.  We have put all of ours up for sale, and if they are sold, we are out of here.  I have lived here all my life and cant stand to see how this state has suffered.
