I need some cheering up.

I woke up this morning to Cade in his crib. He ripped off his diaper and took a p**p. p**p was everywhere! Daddy put him to bed last night and ony put a t shirt on him.....I will get him soon! So I bathe Cade and cleaned the crib. Put Cade in his crib, because the dogs are going nuts....

Get into their room and my one dogs is sick. He pooped pure liquid out of his butt. So I am gagging my butt off, Cade is crying because I couldnt let him out of his crib, he would eat the dog pooh.

And yesterday wasnt much better. I came home and there was a dead mouse on the couch the cats killed. SO I go to the basement and their is a dead snake on my entertainment center. I decided just to go outside with Cade and on the way up a humming bird flies into my window and died! I lost it. Oh and when we were outside a huge tree fell and could have killed us if we were 10 feet closer.

So my question is can you cheer me up with your stories?

And if Cade ate his p**p will he be ok?

Sorry Im having a sh*tty day!

  1. I went to make a bottle once and my son took his diaper off (it was a hot day, i had him only n a t-shirt too) and when i came in he was sticking the pooh in his mouth.. i literally started dry heaving, scrubbed his mouth out with his toothbrush and  then a wet dish towel.. called my pediatrician..they said it was okay, and then kept a very close eye on him the rest of the day.. that wasnt even the worst day!

One event was that my middle child had the horrible diarreha that makes you heave at the smell. well i went to change him, my oldest has a horrible gag reflex, everything makes him puke.. he came in, said mommy whats that smell.. saw the poo smelled the poo and then upchucked everywhere.. i saw the puke and the smell of the p**p and being pregnnat i threw up everywhere.. it was a nasty vomit/poo mess..

  2. If Cade did eat his p**p, he'll probably be okay, but there is potential for him to get a bit ill (E coli). Don't freak out...the odds are small.  Just watch him to make sure he isn't feeling ill.  (ie: stomach cramps, diarrhea...)  He'll be fine...I'm going to say he didn't or you'd have seen it on his tongue or at least on his lips or around his mouth.  But if he did, he's not the first and won't be the last child to eat their p**p! :)  Think of the story you can tell his fiance one day...!  (Evil, I know!)

Other than that...well, you ARE having a sh*tty couple of days!!!!!!!!!  Better not go outside...a bird may actually sh*t on your head, honey!!! :)  Honestly...the animal stuff would bother me more than the baby stuff.

Kick your husbands butt for not putting him in a onesie or something...hey, ya gotta blame someone, don't you?! ;)  Then send the dogs out to play...thank your kitty for killing the mouse...then take a SHOWER!

THEN...take your son to the mall and buy yourself a coffee and people watch.  That always helps me...you're surely to see someone that makes you feel better about your own situation!!  Or go somewhere else if you aren't a mall person...but definitely get out of the house, I say, "LEAVE the scene of the crime!" :))

Ignore the cleaning, don't worry about tonight's dinner.  Just go do something that you both can enjoy (or that you'll enjoy and he won't throw a fit to sit thru) and wash this last day and a half away...tomorrow is a new day and it just can not possibly be worse than the last 24 hours!!

    Chin up...and good luck! :)

  3. oohhh you ve been trought a lot . but the p**p  one happend to me also yersterday . i put my daughter to sleep in just her diapers cause it was a bit hot in her room . two hours later i went to check on her and she was sleeping peacefully then after 10 to 15 mn i went back to get her cause i thought is time to wake up and go . OMG the p**p was everywhere . she managed to color the wall , the pillows, the bed and her stuffeed toys sthat she sleeps with . then proceed to get her book from her nightstand. her face all of her . i screamed so loud her father ran to the room .

i am sure she dint eat any caus eher pacifier was still in her mouth but what if she ate it . will she be fine ? i wonder too

  4. what a crappy day, but you will look back at this and laugh it all one day....

  5. Yes, I know these days too:)  I have to say though I would praise the Lord and do a happy dance that that snake was dead!

I think he will be okay if he ate his p**p although most kids would spit it out unless they liked it which usually only happens if they have worms or some other parasite.  You could call doc just to make sure.

hang in there and hopefully the day will get better:)

  6. One of those days. If you fear he ate his f***s I would give him plenty of water today to flush out his system, if he isn't sick by now he should be okay.

Beyond that, here's something to hopefully make you chuckle.

I am 37 weeks pregnant with twins, and slowly even my maternity clothes are getting too small. I obviously do not want to go back out and buy more clothes when I could go into labor any day now.

As luck would have it though, my uncle passed on after months of suffering from complications from a stroke. So I go to the store to try and find something decent that will cover the gigantic beach ball that is my stomach right now. Apparently maternity clothes do not come in ginormous. I could not find anything that would cover the goodyear blimp. I felt so bad having to show up at my uncles funeral in less than appropriate attire. Of course, family understands and were happy to see me, and doing this well this far along in my pregnancy.

  7. Holy cow, that's a lot of bad stuff to happen in 2 days!  Why was there a snake in your basement?? That would freak me out for sure.  Sounds like you need some time away from the house.  I am 2 months pregnant and working full time and going to school full time..so lately my days haven't been so great either.  Nothing crazy like having dead animals everywhere has happened but I have been SOO tired and run down, and I feel like throwing up all the time.  Plus I don't ever have time to do anything fun.  I really miss my friends.  I'm looking for a part-time job to replace my full time job to free up some time for me.  I had an interview so hopefully I will get it.  So hang in there, at least you have your little one with you and you don't have to be pregnant anymore!  I hate it!  Also I used to work at a daycare in the one year old room and one of the kids would ALWAYS reach her hand in her diaper as soon as it was poopy and sometimes eat it.  She was fine.  I mean it can't be good but there's not much you can do about it now!   Well hope your days get better!

  8. I'm not sure I beleive this..I am laughing so hard right now!! It totally sounds like something that would happen to me!! We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and it's always something!! I totally get stressed out becuase things always happen at the wrong times or all at once!!!

I'm sorry!!! I totally sympathize with you!!!

If Cade ate his own p**p, i think he'll be ok...if he ate the dog's p**p...that's a whole other story! Hang in there!!

Got Jake all ready for daycare, we were running late enough as it was, brought him downstairs, on the way down he puked all over both of us...then changed us both, and came back downstairs and one of the dogs threw up on the living room carpet!! And we all know that dog puke is very acidic and hard to get out of a light beige carpet..and no we don't have little dogs that only puke a little...black lab and gold retreiver...big poops and big pukes!

  9. I don't know whether to laugh out loud or weep in sympathy!  We have all had sh*tty days like that!  I hope tomorrow is a lot better for you all and no, I personally know lots of babies who've eaten their poo and have ended up fine!
