Have any other moms ever done this?

OK, so I must not be the only Mom to have tried this . . . I hope. Today when I was driving home with my 11 month old son I got stuck in traffic. I really had to pee. I didn't want to pull over at a gas station and awaken DS. So I used one of his diapers. It worked surprisingly well. Has anyone else ever done this or is it just crazy me?

no but that is a good idea.  When I was pregnant, I always carried barf bags with me everywhere.  I took a regular plastic grocery bag and put two paper towels in the bottom.  Then you can use them to clean up mess in your car or to barf in.

I've never done that and I've also had to pee so bad (when I was pregnant) but my body allowed me to hold it until I could get to the nearest bathroom...It sounds crazy that you did that and hopefully it doesn't turn into a habit .....

Ha, ha, that's funny!  I haven't tried that, but once when my sister and I took my then 4 year old son on a 2+ hour car ride, he had to pee and we couldn't find a place to stop so I made him go in a pop can.

lol no worries im sure every mom has at one point or another. i havent yet but im sure i would if i was stuck in traffic and really had to go

Haha! That's great. You made my day. Haven't ever done it, but I think the idea is great. Ever since having my emergency c-section, when I gotta pee, I gotta pee! I'll keep that in mind if I ever am in a situation like that!

nope, not me...but i was stuck in the middle of no where one time because of a mudslide and my 6 year old had to go badly, i tried to get her to go in one of her little sisters diapers but not a chance, she wasnt having that.

i suppose if you gotta go, you gotta go, and what else are diapers for right...lol

no i have never done that..i once peed in a cup in that back of a car but thats about it. how in the world did you do that without others seeing you if you were in the drivers seat and stuck in traffic?

Wow how bad was the traffic?  Never have done that and I don't intend to try it.  Can't believe you would actually think to try it - can't say I would have thought of it!

So you were stuck in traffic with people around you and you were able to grab a diaper out of the diaper bag and stuff it in your pants so you could pee in it? Sounds unlikely.... If it's true then it's just crazy YOU.
