  1. I admire you for being the first one that I have heard of doing something like this so bold now the real trick is how to keep those males interested in the baby shower ..... if it were me doing this i would have the men play the games for their wives and try to win the prizes for there spouses, I think that for a change it would be nice for the males to feel how us females feel carrying around a say pillow to show a big belly as it would be for us women being pregnant I feel it would be fun as well as a learning experience for the males so they will understand how us women feel . and the theme can be opposites  meaning the males take the females place and  the females will take the males place ....

  2. heres a game. Melt chocolate bars and put them in diapars. have the guests guess what chcolate it was. it looks real.

  3. we did a game at the baby shower we had for my nephew and niece that ended up being the hit of the shower

    Items needed:

    *newborn size diapers

*8-12 different chocolate candy bars (no skittles or starburst etc.)

    *sharpie or magic marker

    *paper and pens

buy a package of newborn size diapers (you will use 8-12 or so and can give the rest to the expecting parents to use for the baby).  Number the diapers with magic marker for as many different kinds of candy bars that you have.  Take a small piece of each candy bar and put one in each diaper.  Keep a cheat sheet so you know which kind is in each diaper.  Microwave each diaper for about 15 seconds to melt the candy.  This will make it look like p**p.  Then each guest gets a pen and paper and as you pass the diapers around, they have to try to guess what kind of candy bar is in each diaper. NO TASTING ALLOWED!!!! :)  Whoever gets the most right wins.  This ended up being hilarious watching people's faces as they opened the diapers and smelled them trying to guess what each one was.

    Other things you can do:

*take a life sized baby doll and make the expecting parents put a diaper on it....but they can each only use 1 hand and need to work as a team

*take a box or tray with a bunch of baby items in/on it and walk past the guests with it not giving them too much time to look at it and they have to list as many items as they can remember seeing - a variation on this (since many people are familiar with this game) is to have the person who walked around with the tray leave the area and then make the guests write down what the person was wearing - most people have spent so much time trying to look in the box that they don't notice the person who was carrying it.

*if your group likes to sing, split them up into equal teams (as many teams as you like) and give them 3-5 minutes to come up with as many songs as they can that have the word 'baby' or 'mom' or 'dad' in them (or variations of those words)....each team takes turns singing the part of one of their songs that has that word in it.....once one team sings a song, another team cannot use it even if it was on their list....whichever team is able to sing the most songs, wins

*famous TV kids.....pass around sheets to the guests that have the names of the kids and they have to guess the TV show that they are from

For food, you can go with a baby theme.....baby back ribs, or baby (mini) tacos or baby (mini) meatballs....you can use very small styro or paper cups (like nut cups) and serve 'baby' ice cream sundaes....they make mini ('baby') pringles, mini m&ms, etc.....HAVE FUN!!!!!
