  2. i dont know where i found this, but it's kinda like tofu nuggets.

you take your tofu and cut it into the sized pieces you would like and get a 1/4 cup of water and mix it with sum soy sauce...i dont really know how much soy sauce, but just enough so its not really super salty, then you put that in a ziploc baggie with the tofu and let it marinate for a while.....a few hours or overnight, but i am never that patient, then you get a cookiesheet, with foil on top, and maybe sum pam...if you'd like, and place the tofu nuggs on the sheet then you toast bread and crumble it over the tofu and bake it in the oven 350 degrees for 15=20 mins just check em they should be browned and bam. good freakin tofu nuggs.

  3. you can try this

    3/4 pound musshrooms,rinced and minced

    2 table spoon salad oil

    1/4 teaspoon oriental sesame oil

    2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

    1 tablespoon soysauce

2 tablespoon oyster sauce or i tablespoon soysauce

1/4 cup regular strength chicken broth

1 carton firm tofu drained and cut to 1/2 inch

    1 pound aspargus

    4 green onions

in a 12 inch frying pan, combine mushroom, saladoil, sesameoil, and ginger.cook, uncovered, over medium-high heat until all liquid from mushrooms evaporates, about 15 min stir often.add soy, oyster sauce, and broth;stir until simmering.gently mix tofucubesbreak easily)with sauce  until tofu warm,3 to 5 min; keep warm.meanwhile, bring about 1 inch water to boiling in a 12 inch panover high heat.add aspargus and boil, uncovered, until just tender when pierced, about 4 minutes.drain and arrange spears equallyon dinner plates.spoon sauce evenly across aspargus;sprinkle with onions

  4. on soup. veggie soup or miso soup.

  5. you can make tofu meat paste sandwiches, what you can do is to cut the tofu into 2 cubic slices and sandwiched it between the meat paste (this can be made of meat, prawn and fish all smashed into paste with water chestnut, carrots, spring onion dices) and you steamed the dish.  Seasoning/marinating to your taste.

  6. Well, I barbecued a tofu cutlet last night and had it with a sauce made of equal parts hoisin and sriracha sauce. It was delish.

  7. A dish of steamed tofu will be great! you'll need a piece (like a small block, around 3inchx3inch ) of soft tofu, available in chinese specialty shops.

Combine 2tbl spoon of chopped dried shrimp, mix it with 2tsp of light soy sauce,  1/2tbls of oyster sauce, a few drops of sesame oil, a good sprinkling of white pepper powder. Put the mixture on top of the tofu and steam for 10minutes.

finally top with some chopped spring onions. serve with fluffy hot rice and it's gonna be perfect!
