Have any tropical adapted cultivars of Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) been developed?

Soybean, for example, is also a plant of temperate origin; but tropical tolerant cultivars were developed allowing it to be grown in tropical regions. (Brazil, etc.)

  1. Sea Buckthorn grows over most of Europe especially in the Scandinavian regions, and the US mainly in the Northern areas. It is found all over China and the eastern countries. To the best of my knowledge it is not grown in the tropics.
