  1. take a party bag, and out line it w/tin foil, bake cookies and put alot of cookies in the bag :]

then just get like, a dvd of one of those movies :]

  2. It's "inexpensive," my dear, and just buy anything with Winnie-the-Pooh on it.

  3. I would plan a get together with close friends and family just call them and invite them. You could buy a cake a few gifts for her and then plan a few games. I think you could go to the dollar store and get things for games. This is kinda what i am doing for my daughter. I plan on having cake ice cream, games to play for the little kids, a lil gift bag for each kid that attends, gifts for my daughter and just some simple snacks for the adults and some pop and juice. I only plan on spending 100 dollars total and thats including her gifts cuz we aint rich either. If you do the gift bag idea for the kids you can also get that stuff at a dollar store and cut out the game idea and just put a few things to do in the bag. Like a puzzle, ole maid cards or some type of cards, a few pieces of candy, bouncy ball ect.

hope this helps....just dont worry about what others think and go cheap she will love it no matter what

  4. Print out a photo of your LO every month up until age one. Frame them all in one of those collage frames or tape them up all over the room you are having the party in. You could also do a collage on digital frame. Wal-Mart has cheap Winnie the Pooh decorations. If she has some Winnie the Pooh dolls etc. display those. Get a Winnie the Pooh cake at Wal-Mart or the local grocery bakery (will be much cheaper than fancy bakery) and one small cake for her to smash (you could just make this one yourself or get a cupcake). Lots of balloons is what made my son's first birthday. he LOVES balloons...

  5. host in your own back yard or city park(usually free and reservable) use white lunch sacks decorated by you and your daughter filled with a teether, a gerber cereal bar, a gerber fruit tether, and a party popper or blow out. then use the cheaper colored paper plates that go with the theme you choose only buying a theme cake and wrapping paper cutting a lot of cost on themed party plates and cups. buy generic invites but seal them with a sticker from your theme. and do it at like 2 pm so you only have to serve snacks bc any kid under 5 should have a party that only lasts about an hour or maybe 2 hrs(tops) when it is a first bday party tell the bakery! they will usually give you a 6 inch round cake for FREE with the big cake just for your daughter to dig into herself. another thing is you can get a small pool side conferance room for like 30 dollars and in the goody bags do pool toys.

  6. you could get her:

a winnie-the-pooh stuffed animal with balloons tied to its hands.

    stuffed animal: http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp/wcs/...

    balloons: local dollar store! :)

    a mickey mouse storybook: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp...

    and mickey mouse balloons! :)

  7. get her a cake and go to chuck e cheeses

  8. Get a cake from Wal Mart. For my daughters 1st birthday I got a really cute one from there that had Mickey and Minnie in a little 50's soda shop. The stuff on the top of the cake are figurines, some are toys.

They give you a small round cake for free. I think its an awesome deal!

The thing is, the 1st b-day is mostly for the people that attend, since the baby wont remember it, or really understand whats goin on. Take lots of pictures tho.

If you allow your child to play with baloons ger her some cute helium based ballons so she can pull it around with her.

Get a cheap pool from Wal Mart also and let her and other kids play in it, or some fun sprinklers.

  9. She won't remember it anyway. Just have a few friends over and do a low- key traditional birthday party. People aren't doing that enough these days. Kids LOVE them! Have fun!

  10. Have a home birthday party. Also make the cake yourself. You can buy a candle which has Winnie on it to spice it up. Look in the $2 shops - you'll be surprised how cheap you can buy Winnie and Micky Mouse stuff!

  11. Make cupcakes(or buy them) Put pics on them & record her 1st b'day

  12. Just stay at home and keep it simple.

How does a 1 year old like those? She watches tv?

  13. Buy a cake with JoJo, etc. Give her a birthday hat, sing happy birthday and take pictures of her eating it.  1st birthdays are really not a big occastion. A party would be more for you and not for the child.  She won't even know what is going on.

  14. Buy a cake and let her play in it. Buy her clothes with Pooh - she will be happy if you are happy - birthday parties are nonsense for kids under 2 and probably for them.

  15. Mickey mouse pictures from the interent, post them all over your house, have a cake and balloons

    DOne.

  16. kay well buy plates napkins baloons and cups that have that on it and a cake. and get a number 1 candel. and thats about all. it cant be more than 20 dollars.  and its inexpensive.

  17. get her a cake with jojo's circus, winnie the pooh or mickey mouse. get a lot of balloons in different colors and have cute little pictures of those characters around the house.

  18. try getting one of those themes at a party store

then have the party at your local park

my niece had a party at ours and it was funn big kids and little kids can go swimming or play in the jungle gym

  19. Does She like Picnics? You can invite Her & Her little friends- to a "Picnic at the Park" where EACH of her friends has to bring (or wear) something with one of Her favorite Characters on it ! The food can be ALL sandwiches & stuff they like, or you could pick up something from KFC- or have a couple BIG Pizza's Delivered. Remember, little kids really don't CARE about the food, place or expense a Party costs... They just want to be able to run around, play games, & have a good time! And a "Party at the Park" is the PERFECT thing! Hope you all have Fun!  :)

  20. Make her a cake and then go to your local Wal Mart bakery and buy a cake decoration kit.  They sell them for $4-$6.  They should have the characters that your daughter likes.  Then invite your family and/or friends over and party.  Don't forget the number 1 candle 99cents at most bakeries.

  21. Cheese on toast with a few ie (2-3) friends.

Themed colouring sheets from the internet and cake..

Cheep, you get great pictures and get to chat to mums in your area..
