Well, joining the army/navy when you have asthma proves you are not smart enough to live. And there's plenty of that sort of people everywhere.

a total of 6 people died at the gas chamber. most of them had, like you said, lied on their record stating they didn't have asthma. one was an epileptic.

One, no...noone to date has ever died because of direct contact with the gas chamber.

Two..it is d**n near impossible to lie abuot something like asthma, unless it is so slight that it doesn't affect your ability to train normally. When the members go through the medical screening at MEPS, it is a basic overveiw with a lot of other people...and it could be missed, but by the 6 week of bootcamp...or when ever the heck they do the chamber now-a-days...there would be ample medical physicals, and training to bring full blown asthma into light.

The gas they use in the chamber is a non-lethal and "watered down" version of the gas that is used in riot control tear gas canisters, which I don't think anyone has ever died from unless they were hit by the fired canister.

6 people have not died because of the gas chamber...good that you can drum up some number, but you need to site you sources. you see I have been in the navy for almost 10 years...and I can get straight answers.

yes, there have been deaths associated with the Gas chamber at Boot camp.   I do not know if that is limited to idiots who lie on a federal document or if  someone died as a result of a previously unknown issue.  

People have collapsed on the basketball court with heart attacks who never once had any symptoms of a heart condition or problem and were otherwise healthy as horses.

I know of no one that has died as the result of exposure to CS gas during boot camp.  However, you can die if you were to collapse or were unable to escape.

actually, last week they just took out those gas chambers.

I actually died in there so they decided to stop using them. but if you read this please tell my mom i love her!
