It's an Iron supplement. It will help with anemia and is especially good for women. Not very good for a male unless they are anemic.

Yes. It has been around a very long time. I took it for anemia (aka "iron-poor, tired blood") when I was a kid. It's a liquid combo of iron and B vitamins used to treat anemia caused by iron deficiency, usually in women of menstruating age. It is similar to Geritol tonic.

I don't use it anymore. I've found a more natural product called Vital-K that is sold at health food stores. I also try to eat bunches of iron-rich foods. One is the grain Amaranth.

Note: anemia and symptoms of anemia really should be confirmed by a blood test before treating by supplementation.
