Have anyone ever hit a deer while driving?

if so did you felt sorry for the deer,or was you like fck it it shouldnt jumped

infront in the first place?it just happen to me an hour ago

I've hit two deer in about 33 years of driving in N. Central PA which is a real deer hot spot!  The first one was killed outright and literally never knew what happened to her = no suffering.  The second one wasn't so lucky and that upset me.  I had to have the State Police come out and shoot her and seeing her suffer upset me tremendously because I'm an animal lover.  I look at it as a sh*t happens thing but I still don't like to see any animal suffer.  But do have your vehicle checked over to make sure it's safe to drive!  The first deer I hit took out the grill, headlight and bumper on my truck and a piece of the grill apparently got to the lower radiator hose and gashed it.  Didn't go right away but it was bulging pretty good so I made a run to the parts store for a hose and some antifreeze.

It's normal to feel regret. It's normal to ask yourself if you could have done something differently and altered the outcome. But the truth is, even when you answer those questions, they can't change the past. They can, however, impact the way you drive in the future. Gas up, drive and fall in love with the road again. It's possible.

one jumped over a hedge once right onto the bonnet of my ex's car, it killed itself on impact :-(
