Have anyone feel electric shock when touching other things?

I feel electric shock everytime I touch my car door while getting out of car and closing the door and I really get terrified. How can I get rid of these shocks?

This is static electricity and not dangerous. Your body gets charged when it rub the seat or due to synthetic cloths. When you touch a metal object,the charge is discharged.This happens when you walk on a carpet also.

An earthing device as mentioned by previous answer will work if avaiable.

Believe me I have the same problem! Your best bet is to wear a grounding strap (It looks silly but works). Metal watches or rings also get rid of the problem sometimes. Good luck ; )
