Have anyone here had an incompetent cervix and went into labor?

If so, at what month (weeks) did you go into preterm labor?

My mother did and lost two babies.  The first was a miscarriage at around 6 months, the second she had a stillborn.  Totally devastating story...

I was their "hope" baby and their last shot....I'm not exactly sure on the month, but she actually got her cervix stitched so it wouldn't happen again...Thinking it was when she was about 4 months along...

An incompetent cervix is one that suddenly opens during pregnancy and you most likely wont know about it until it happens and you lose your baby. But the good thing is there are symptoms and you can detect it early. If your worried talk to your doctor.

21 weeks.. stillborn.. this time we're probably doing the cervical stitch
