  1. Lol kicking is not a girly thing to do this guy has never even been in a fight when you fear for your life. I was suppose to fight one guy but he had a buddy that sucker punched me in the back of the head so i back handed him with a hammer punch and the guy coming toward me i kicked him on the side of his kneecap breaking his leg he fell to the ground giving me time to kick the c**p out of the other guy and the guy with the broken leg i just knocked him out.

  2. When leaving a bar once years ago some random fat middle aged drunk guy was talking some garbage to me, as we were on our way out he was there, I told him to p**s off on my way to the car, he ran at me and I front kicked him in the stomach. He then just fell over and laid on the ground and we left.

That was a while ago, before I knew what a front kick was, i just had some guy running at me so i kicked him in the stomach,....worked.....no one really got hurt and it ended the situation.

  3. ya of course. kicks are more powerfull than punches. and the guy who said that its girly clearly does not know martial arts and probably just swings for the fences when he fights like a blind moron.

its best to keep the kicks to your opponents legs unless you are like 6ft6 and are flexible then go for the head.

  4. No only sissy angry white people that hate their mothers do that.. Try nocking the guy out like a man with your fist, people will lose all respect for kicking its a girly thing to do.

  5. The idea of training is so that you respond to things in a controlled manner no matter what's going on.

You train getting punched so you don't freak out the first time you get hit.  You train to always look where your opponent is so you know what's going on in your surroundings.  You train to throw punches and defend yourself so you don't punch wildly when you really need it.

I have actually used my training on the street, I'm ashamed to say.  When I was younger I've been in bar fights which were completely stupid.  I didn't kick anyone, but I did punch, parry, and defend just like I trained (this was when I boxed).  I now train Muay Thai, so I guess I'd be more likely to kick in a street situation.

With proper training you don't start flailing wildly - your body knows what to do, and your mind helps.  You mentally choose fight over flight, and once the choice is made you do what you need to do to succeed.

  6. leg kicks are most effective

  7. field goal kicks to the head when their on the ground....plenty

  8. yup I kicked a guy in the face for trying to stab me

  9. You do what you train to do, if you hard wire yourself to use the skills you have learned you will. If an MA has properly preped you to kick, you likely will.

frankly if you want to survive in a fight control the andrenaline, don't let it control you.
