i dont know but i would hack it to the nub right to the dirt and then laugh at the birds babys crying on the ground and then post a sign like we have in town it says dont feed the birds then i would either pave it or paint it green no make that a 55 gallon drum on its side with a hole poked in it of some unknown substance and just let it drip and keep drinking your well water then i would scratch my head and say why did my energy bill raise

There used to be a lot of company s that would come out and cut down all your old growth trees just for the wood chips. They must have all gone out of business. Strange.

If the timber is merchantable, and usually large pine is, you can get a sawmill or logger to not only remove them but they will pay you.  Learn the value of your trees before you offer to give them away.

when it costs 500 or more to cut a tree like that down would you do it for free? especially when they will get the wood for free anyway if you don't want it!!!

Not unless you live way out in the country and they are way far from your house. And then they would remove them for the timber, not to use entirely as woodchips. It is highly unlikely that they would be removed for free.
