I left the group (X-Plane Group) some time ago and politely asked to be unsubscribed. I still get mail and am considering deleting Yahoo from my system to avoid all the SPAM I receive.

  1. You can do that or just block the messages that you receive from the one group.

  2. Go to the group's  site, click on edit membership along the top.  In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out.  It may take a day to take effect

  3. Unsubscribe emails sometimes take forever to get you out of a group. This will work faster: sign into the group, click "edit membership" at the top of page. Click "leave group" at the bottom right. Confirm on the next page. That should lead to instant unsubscription. It might take another day or so to also get no more messages from the group.

  4. Start posting some pretty nasty messages to the group. Bash on the owner, etc. They will remove you pretty quickly, I would think.

  5. Don't send any nasty message as you can ger reported for that. Go to here and see if your still in that group or you have it listed and if so go into the group again ..look at the top and see where it say edite membership..scroll down look to your right and where it say leave group click on it and follow what it says..
