I have been ttc for since my miscarrieage last year. My fiance' has been out of town for the last few months and is do back soon. My periods have been irregular since the miscarriage up until a few months ago. The last four periods I have had have been regular and I really want to get pregnant. My period is always the last week of the month as of late. My fiance will be back 9/6 and I was wondering if you all have any advice on how to help me get pregnant. Serious answers only please.

  1. I second fertilityfriend but you may also want to buy the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. You will learn a lot about your body.

  2. Start taking a multi-vitamin now (I like centrum because it has everything  needed for fertility including selenium, b's, c, d, e vitamins and magnesium.

Maca is really good for hormone balancing.  It will help keep your hormones in check.  Chasteberry also does the same but I personally like Maca due to the studies and results.

Drink water to flush your body, keep hydrated which help egg growth and cm.

Get plenty of sleep (helps balance hormones)

Eat healthy (sugar from refined sugar and bad carbs harm the growing egg)

Dairy products contain a sugar that is said to damage human eggs.

Coffee increases stress hormones (which is bad for growing baby) and makes your insulin drop fast (bad for eggs).

No smoking or alcohol.  I think we all know why.

Have s*x every day your with him until the day after your lh surge.

Reduce stress and let the baby making be fun not routine.

    Good Luck!

  3. you know even if you have your periods you may want to consider some medical help. get checked up, make sure you and your hunny are good. you need to have a good uterus healthy eggs, he needs mobile sperm. that should be a first. intertility i think is when you have been trying for over a year without conceiving. so get some help. try clomid, that will help you release more eggs. and what you want to do is track your BBT(basal body temperature). how you do that is take your temp every morning at the same time, before you even get out of bed or do anything and track that. usually most women ovulate 14 days after their period. you track your BBT to know when you ovulating. mostly your BBT should 97 or 98 (just depends on you) and when you ovulate your temperature goes up. so if you are normally 97s consistently and then all of a suddend around 14-16 days after your period your temp goes up in the 98s you may have ovulated. and this is the best time to have intercouse. if this doesn't work, the doc may give you an HCG shot, or may offer you intrauterine insemination or something to that degree. my best advice is track your BBT so you know when you are ovulating to give you best chance. and with medical help like i said such as pills or shots, you will be able to conceive. good luck hope this helped you out.

  4. both times i got pregnant in a month by taking prenatal vitaims drinking water having s*x everyday. i mean i only missed maybe 2 days. i had s*x even after i though i ovulated just to be sure, and it worked!! everyone is different. but i have a long cervix( the way the sperm travels to get to my egg) which i was told by my dr that its alittle harder to get prego. that could be ur case, maybe not just a thought. and if that is ur case i would look up preseed. its sperm friendly and helps the sperm travel to the egg. goodluck
