Hey good news!

If u ar to get themotercycle from UK to india then u have to go to customs related to sea or air.Go tothe customs house showing the shipment papers,they will calculate the duty which we have to pay and then the vehicle is releived-this is one "option".

IInd option is to call upon some cargo lifters and ask them to deliver in india paying the customs duty -inthis way the mobike will be at ur doorstep.

On shipping it to India:

Best and probably cheapest option would be to ship it via sea (and  I think this may be the only option). There are many such service providers available like eaglefreight.co.uk, london-baggage.com, interpack.co.uk and simpsons-uk.com. To my knowledge the first three are managed by Indians only. Get a quote from them and negotiate the price. You'll have various options like door-to-door or door-to-port or combinations there of. I'd suggest, get a port-to-port service from these guys. Use local agencies to transport locally. Also engage a local agency in India to get it customs cleared (the charge usually is about Rs.2-3K). Otherwise, if you ask for end-to-end service, it costs you a lot more.
