Have cell functions evolved?

For you evolutionists.

If we look at what are considered to be the most primitive species are their cells also primitive? That is... a human has cells that are more complex than science even imagined 20 years ago. Machines.. practically seeming to be designed. (at least give me the seeming..)

I would expect the cells of 'older' species to be the older not as evolved type of cell..
