Have chain resturants become worse over the years?

I have sworn off chain restaurants and am only allowed to eat at buffets, or restaurants were the owners still work or I can get take out. The reason is chain restaurants seem to have a 17 year old kid serving my food and a 22 year old manager who could care less about service or cleanliness. Are there any chain resturants which have good service anymore or do you have to spend over a hundred dollars for that these days.

if u go to the less common chain restaurants such as culvers or idk....but the bigger ones such as mcdonalds or BK are pretty bad anymore because no one wants to work for them.
