Have divers ever tried to locate the plane of Amelia Earhart who made record international flights in the 30's

Her plane went down with her into the ocean.has any one attempted to try and locate the wreck

Many..many people have tried..but the plane is small & the ocean is large and no one really knows within 250-500 miles where she was last...Oh ya it's also deep out there.

No one has ever found such wreckage. However there´s a theory that says that she was doing spy job for the USA and the whole thing about her wreckage, is a scam that the US made up to give her a new name and identity in Europe.

That's why they'll never find the remains of the airplane
