have ethernet connection that works on everyone elses computer but mine. my computer is a compaq persario v2000 running windows xp, when I bring up the properties of the conection is shows connected at 100 Mbps, it also shows it sending packets but not recieving them, the connection is unsecured. when I try to diagnose the problem with internet explorer it is unable to fix it, when I daignose it with messenger it comes up with a caution sign next to gateway defalt..... it says my gateway appears off line. Please help me
