  1. Yes I have and it was worth every penny of my trip. I went first to Bariloche and spent there 5 days exploring the surroundings. Then went another 4 days to Villa La Angostura and continued trip to El Bolson and finally  flew to Calafate and saw Glaciar Perito Moreno. Patagonia is simply one of the best places on earth, the scenary is simply breathtakin and dont ent me started on their delicious food! However, I recommend you go there during summer months (January, February and March) as it is very cold. I am not particularly fond of snow and I hardly ski so I prefer to explore Patagonia during summertime.

  2. I went to Argentina, but didn't quite make it down into the Patagonia area, but my brother spent some time down there and said it was a really cool area.

There is a huge conservation push in the area, especially concerning wildlife. If you're into the great outdoors, you should try and get down there. Make sure you remember the climate is opposite, pretty much, what is going on here in the US. Therefore, take into account that you're going way south, i.e. cold, so I would avoid going during their winters!

    Enjoy!
